HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YOU GUYS OUT THERE!
Time just keeps flying away at such great speed that it is hard to realise that 2008 has finally came to an end. This is my first post of the year 2009 :)
During this whole duration of last year, alot of things have happened. Both good and bad..which has made this year a fairly "okay" year for me. However, on the whole of it, i am still happy today.
Here are the things that went GOOD and somethings that went BAD:
Good things:
It was really a shocking day for me. I achieved more than what i expected myself too. That feeling can't be explained i guess..cause i broke into tears of joy the moment i opened my sealed envelope.
- Admission to Singapore Polytechnic
This was a so called "Dream come true" for me because if i ever wanted to get into any polytechnic, it would be only SP. So i managed to grab hold of my favourite course and got admitted.
I will always thank god for blessing me with such good and understanding friends in poly so that my journey can be smooth for the next 3 years. I feel sooo accepted and a vital part of the team we have. Thank you guys :-)

YES! it was 18th bday this year which makes 2008 all the more special for me. "Ready to drink, ready to drive, ready to smoke", thats what my friends told me. BUT sorry guys...good to hear..not to be put into practice..driving not a bad idea though :)
Did nothing much cause it was ganesh chaturthi period...infact the start of the festival was on my bday. Went to mumma's friend's place to get bappa home! What better blessing or celebration can i ask for?
I am sad noo more!! Haha...yeah i think its a natural feeling to feel bad after someone u love so much suddenly goes away from you BUT ppl do recover i guess..so did i. I talk to di like everyday on the phone and she has this cheerful tone most of the time, which implies that she is very happy with hubby mohit! hahaha..so what else can i ask for? All i can say is, THANK YOU GOD :-)

all i can say is, the entire gang can just go NUTS! things like dancing in the bus, camwhoring, break into sudden laughter for no reason blah blah blah thats them!! haha basically they have reached the epitome of randomness..BUT it is these things that make them really special to me. Thank u all u weirdos..i love u :-)
Now time for some bad things:
Tore my ligament during one of the training sessions...woah that was instant pain! i was asked for complete bed rest which got boring cause i couldn't meet anyone or go hang out. Almost started looking like a zombie.
I was not on talking terms with one of my first friends that i made when i came to singapore due to some issues that were disturbing at that time. It wasn't the best of times cause i couldn't be myself with him. However, i am glad that things have got back to normal now and we are best of friends around. So much so that we even celebrated Xmas together and went crazy!!
This was one of my darkest phases which started right before my bday and went on for good 2 months i think? Umm well, sometimes ppl call me stupid for believing anyone and everyone too fast and giving them unconditional love - which i have realised is wrong.Some souls on this earth are just not worth believing and they don't deserve the love. Glad i managed to realise that! People who know me really well, also would know that i hate backstabbers and they can never be forgiven. This is one such case. I was shattered after whatever happened but i think it all happened for good. During that phase, it was a making of a new improvised ishaan who is much more happier in life now and independent too. I am happy for who i am now and each step i now take is after alot of thinking behind it, no more impulsive decisions cause that leads me to all the pain! I want to thank my di who got me out of that weak phase and put me to where i am now..thanks aayu di!
- 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks
This was another painful time for me whereby i lost some of my own. I just returned to singapore after attending sister's marriage and all this shit happened there. For those who have gone, we can't bring them back but those who are still alive, please treasure every moment you spend with them. This is what i learned from that horrifying incident. To all my indian brothers and sisters out there who are affected by this, all i want to say is, whether i know u or not..but i have the deepest affection for you.
So that was my 2008 journey and now it has finally ended with a bang with great new year celebrations.
I welcome 2009 and new people and friends with open arms ready to embrace them all. Lets make this year a rocking one together! LOVE ALL...=D

Sorry guys, couldn't get a chance to put up a post for the past few days. Just got soo busy with poly and some other stuff. Well, i am here to blog again though! haha. Hmm, lemme see..what to talk about..okay i recently went for this venture cord hike...i m sure that would have sounded alien to all of u..haha..its okay...its scoutish..thats why:)

Venture cord hike is one of the few national hikes that is conducted just twice a year..for a scout to go for it..is a matter of both honour and privilege. Haha..so i was pretty pumped up for the hike. Its 3 days long so yeah..thats another reason why i couldn't blog. Still recovering from the fatigue though..cause the backpack weight and the hiking distance was really a killer!
Well all's done now..and i am back to normal days :-)

BLINK! - Just started reading this book today, mama gave it to dad while he was in delhi. Cover Page looks interesting and i must say, it is really very interesting on the inside too!

Hi all..
currently having my 3 week term break now and this is the second week. Even though i was looking forward for this break to come, now i feel it should end really soon. I am feeling bored and also missing my sister even more since i have a lot of ideal time! bleh..haha..
But there are somethings i wanna do before holidays end like watch some movies that i was waiting for, for quite a long long time..one of them is GHAJINI...finally gonna be out on the 25th..yay!! haha
~aamir looks so young in this and can't wait to see that new actress..haha~
Also wanted to watch twilight and the day the earth stood still!!
~the plot of the movie seems very interesting~
Haha...so thats some of the few things i wanna do before holidays end..then i can say they were Happy Holidays!

Hello guys!
sorry for blogging after a few days, just got busy with all other stuff. Well well well, my parents finally got back on the 11th from Mumbai. I can't express the fear i had in my heart while they were there. Of course that fear was due to the terrorist attacks that took place just a few days back. Just then i realised how devastating it would have been for those families who have lost loving members in the attacks. DO HELL WITH THESE TERRORISTS AND TERRORISM!
Sometimes to come to think of it, if i have to take up terrorism to eliminate terrorists, i would do it happily!
Anyways, parents finally came back. Just like ruma di and me, they were feeling low once they reached home. The reason was pretty obvious - they were missing their daughter and we were missing our sister. But thats what u call life - isn't it? We are moving on slowly and getting back to our own lives.

Woke up damn late..about 1pm! Haha...now thats what u call enjoying holidays..haha. Well, i deserve that luxury of getting up late after having those sleepless nights during exams! Had lunch with sister, watched tv with her and then she went back to studying - her exams start this week. Did cleaning of my room, it was a complete pigsty! I had to clean the mess up and make it look good before mum and dad come on the 11th!!! oooo can't wait for their return - love u both!
Turned on my darling - Nah don't get wrong things into ur brains, i am talking about my laptop! Haha...yeah she is my darling! surfed the net for about an hour, checked emails and did some chatting! Then guess what?? didi called!!! Mohit jiju took her to the holiest place in India - Haridwar. She said its damn cold there, almost freezing temperatures. She sounded happy and so my day was all lighted up! They are having alot of fun there. The place is just paradise - even though i have not visited it. However, caught a glimpse of it in some hindi movie. Really happy for her.

Hello all! yesterday i went out with some of my really good friends to a kids x'mas celebration. Saw alot of kids running around care free and enjoying themselves alot. I wish i was a kid forever - No tensions, no stress and no work to do! It would have been just fun and play. I guess that's nt really possible. Haha. But one important thing i learned yesterday. I learned that living your life with all seriousness all the time is plain wasting of time and your life. Rather enjoy yourself, be care free some times if not always and be a kid! Yes, be a kid! It looks crazy but feels gr8. I realised there is so much happiness in keeping others happy and put a smile to their face. Xmas is not something i celebrate and so i dunno the real importance of it. Even though i have a different religion but i realised, how wonderful all these other religions are! I was missing out alot in life but thanks to all my friends who made me catch up! haha :-)
